Gas South Arena is conveniently situated about 22 miles outside of downtown Atlanta in Duluth, GA, making it a snap to pop into the city for a bite to eat or to visit its many acclaimed attractions. It’s part of the “Gas South District,” which features several other venues and attractions.
The arena stands out thanks to its cutting-edge reduction system, which quickly converts the space from a theater-style capacity of 3,000 to a convention space that can accommodate up to 10,000 attendees.
Gas South Arena is largely known for its sports events, but it has plenty to offer for music lovers as well. Live entertainment is available from renowned performers in genres such as pop, country, R&B, and hip-hop. The arena regularly hosts Spanish-language events, too.

Venue History
Built in 2003 to the tune of $91.5 million, Gas South Arena was originally called Gwinnett Civic Center Arena. Its name later changed to The Arena at Gwinnett Center, followed by Infinite Energy Arena, and finally Gas South Arena.
The first event held at the venue was a football game featuring the Georgia Force in February 2003. The team played here for five seasons: 2003-2004, 2008, and 2011-2012.
