The group’s lead singer, Gustavo and songwriter, producer and keyboardist, Adolfo, explain the decision to close this chapter of their lives. “With the love that has united us since we were kids, the same that we feel for the vocation that we’ve had the privilege of working in for more than 46 years, we want to share that we’ve made the difficult decision of separating, closing one of the most important and gratifying cycles of our lives.”

Adolfo and Gustavo Ángel are responsible for producing classic hits such as “Ven Porque Te Necesito” and “Si Tú Te Vas.” Los Temerarios announced their planned retirement after almost 46 years together and will conclude their career with this farewell concert series. Los Temerarios managed to score 41 entries on Billboard's Hot Latin Songs chart, 17 of those are top 10 hits, including four No. 1s (“Ya Me Voy Para Siempre,” “Por Qué Te Conocí,” “Que De Raro Tiene” and “Si Tú Te Vas”). On the Top Latin Albums chart, the group released 23 top 10 sets, eight hit No. 1. Their album Los 14 Grandes Hits de Los Temerarios, released in 1983, earned them a star on the Las Vegas Walk of Fame in 2012.
